To find your best deal - I will search many suppliers for airline, cruiseline and resort deals for your dates.  To get those deals I need to know:

• Destination and your preferred travel window (departure and return dates)

• Number of travelers; are all passports valid for international travel?

• Desired stay length (nights)

• Most convenient airport for you

• Accommodation style: budget-friendly or luxury?

• Flight preference: nonstop or are layovers acceptable if they save money?

• If you’d like, you can also include your budget range and any must-dos or interests (beach, adventure, culture).

• For international trips by air: yes, a valid passport is required for each traveler.
• For U.S. domestic travel: a passport isn’t required, but you’ll need a REAL ID-compliant ID (or another acceptable ID, such as a passport) to fly 
• Cruises and some land/sea trips: many lines still require a passport for international itineraries; some shorter, domestic routes may allow a birth certificate + photo ID, but bring a passport to be safe.
• Passport validity: many destinations require at least 6 months of validity beyond your travel dates; check your destination’s rules.
• Minors: international travel typically requires a passport for all travelers, including children.
• Timing: apply early. Routine processing is several weeks; expedited options and in-person appointments exist if you’re in a rush.

U.S. citizens do not need a passport to travel between the U.S. and these territories:

• Guam
• Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands
• Puerto Rico
• U.S. Virgin Islands
